Last night I was reading my local newspaper - the Express and Star
and saw a small piece headed 'Mother in denial on death' which reported a tragic death of a small child from methadone poisoning.

these are the couple of lines which I found annoying....

laughter.................................

When I was learning short-hand and typing 45 years ago we were taught how to split up long words which could not be accommodated on one line. Obviously lessons like this no longer occur.
Sad isn't it?
I used the word 'pedantic' because that is what I've been accused of by my learned friends (I know what it means now because I had to look it up, too!)
Actual the first time I heard it I was accused of being a 'pedant' and completely misunderstood what it meant, which is....a person who makes a tedious show of dull learning...according to my Webster's Dictionary.
Steve - I don't know who those characters are...but that is very funny!

I hope you don't mean the Daily Star! I would be surprised if they used words over four letters. However, I am surprised at the Express. Then again, perhaps it time you should joined me over at the Independent?

Hi, I took a 10 mg methadone earlier today. I have NEVER taken anything like this before. I called up poison control and they said 10 mg is alot to take. I thought it was a fairly low dosage. Also they said after 12 hours you start to feel the effects which is really freaking me out! I just want to know when I wont feel nausiated anymore and if this med does peak after 12 hours. I hope someone knows....Im having a panick attack :(

1- Ana's son dies 3 days after the baby born and have Howrad's name on her birth certificate.
2- The cause of death is overdose.
3- Ana Nicole dies, after had decided to take the DNA test as ordered on January 23rd by court.
4- The plot where her son was buried was brought by Howard so was hers.
5- Howard used to keep Nicole on drugs as seem on videos.
6- People have said to see Howard givin methadone to Daniel, Ana's son.
What else is needed for him being investigated ? A video with him poisoning her or ner son ?
Faith isn't too soon, since him is claming his rights, deciding where she should be buried and even about to have his hands on the baby. How can a judge, take the risk of ruling on favor of the baby's girls mother's murder ?

Just got liver tests back as in blood tests and two things were elevated from previous tests the FLT and the ALT one of them was 12 now is 48 the other was about 12 now is 35 or something not definite on those readings. Any way have just been sick with either a bad virus or food poisoning. Used to be heavy drinker and pot smoker, popped pain killers for a while and now am on methadone and valium, serapax, xanax and restoril for anxiety and sleep disorders.
Am a bit paranoid that im going to die or something, the doctor wasnt too worried and said we'll redo the test in a month and see how it goes. Does this mean my liver is just under stress cause i was sick and now on lots of medications?
someone help me am worried about this as i suffer from anxiety already and have a fear of death and over react to things.

Here is what you need :

Ultrasound of liver
Hepatitis Testing
Avoid anything that would damage liver e.g Tylenol , Alcohol
None of the drugs that you are on damage the liver significantly . Surprisingly you are taking 4 Benzos i.e Valium,Xanax,Serapax and Restoril . With mehtadone use only two benzos i.e Restoril for night and Xanax for the day .Add an SSRI e.g Zoloft for anxiety , also add Thiamine, Folic Acid , and Multivitamin .
If your Ultrasound would show chronic liver changes than you might need a liver biopsy . If you are HepC/B possitive it would need to be treated aswell . An Hiv test should also be conducted .

Excercise regularly . Help people who are trying to recover from drugs.
