I mean is there a 70 mg dose in regular pill form and if so can anyone show me a picture of the pill?
There is not really a 70 mg methadone pill. Methadone either comes in an oral solution (looks a little like pink cough syrup) that is 10 mgs per ml. meaning that if there is 7 mls. of liquid there will be 70 mgs. of methadone. you can use a medication syringe to measure this out. OR methadone can also come in dispersable diskette form which could contain 70 mgs. in one diskette. the diskettes are about quarter sized and dissolve in water to look like orange tang. As far as a regular pill goes, Dolophine (which is methadone) comes in 10 mg tablets. hope this helps

New drug products come out all the time, so if there is a 70 mg methadone product it is not usually available that way.
The below link includes product strength information. 40mg per dosage unit is the highest I see listed, there are solutions that could be prescribed in that dose.
Keep in mind that people new to opioid narcotics or those who have lost tolerance due to lack of recient use can have fatal overdoses. The usual starting dose for pain relief is 2.5mg to 10mg and 20 to 30 mg to supress opioid withdrawal.

I was wondering if someone is in a Methadone program and they have to have open heart surgery if they will be taken off of methadone before they have their surgery ? I am worried about the dangers of being on it and having the surgery and being under anesthesia while on methadone and also I know it is not easy to get your system cleaned out from this drug ...that it is hard on your body so I was wondering if they would keep you on it even through the surgery.Thanks.I am also wondering about this with the TEE test that they put you to sleep for too where they take the pictures of your heart with the tube down your throat.If anyone knows will you please let me know .Thanks so much.
There would be no reason for you to come off of methadone...but it is very important that you let the anesthesia person know that you are on it. It should not be especially dangerous to get anesthesia because of the methadone as long as you are otherwise healthy.
I assume that you are on methadone for narcotic maintenance and avoidance of withdrawal? If so - coming off of it will necessitate going through withdrawal.
I found these in my boyfriend's pocket this morning.

its suboxone, but he could use them not to help his addiction, but for a high in itself, similar to the methadone, But i know from experience, dont give him too many consequences and punishment, hes more likely to relapse then, instead let him know how bad it makes you feel to see him do this to himself. (This is coming from the users end by the way.. not the intervener...) He might even laugh if you tell him "NO pills, no powders, no rocks, but if it grows in the ground its probably fine.. Although, if its in the ciggerette wrapper, it makes it more likley to belive hes abusing it like you might with methadone, which is used to ween people off their heroin addiction... and Austin, Thats most deffinatly not exx, and for sure not pcp, pcp can be found in pill form but most users use "Angel dust" which is a white grainy-powder sometimes containing purple specks, but most of all it kinda "glistens" in the light.
Well.. i neve have done heroine, and dont plan on it so i dont quite know how rehab quite goes for everyone, but he could be taking them daily or he could have been told to take them as his withdrawls started to kick in.. who knows, theres also the chance that he did get them illeagally to substitute for his addiction, (like his methadone use), im not saying thats for sure how he got them, but it seems likely because there not in a normal pill container, and there in the ciggerette wrapper. also theres the possiblity hes not taking them anymore, and had plans to sell them if he didnt need them anymore.. be careful, but considerate, its more important to get to the root of his problem then harass him about his use. let him know that it affects you, and that you dont like seeing him do this. (Heroine is just awful for someone). Also, if it gets out of hand and he wont check into rehab, and theres nothingelse to do, im not saying you would or shoud but theres the possiblity of ending that relationship... but again that could trigger him to use it more.. :( (remember this is coming from the user, not the accuser, he most likely knows how dangerous those drugs are, and that theres probably a huge underlying problem to all of his use, but the last thing he needs is someone just berratting him and being mean to him, someone needs to show him compassion.
Also, Austin there are plenty of prescription drugs that are very helpful, that come in a hexagonagal shape, a pentagonagal shape, etc.. look at a pill identifier, but also nothing against you honestly i don't mean to be offensive, i know you were probably trying to help, but please know what your talking about before actually giving advice..

The focus is on Kym, a chain-smoking former model who has spent the last several months in rehab. As a substance abuser whose only armor is cutting sarcasm, she is absurdly hopeful that her sister Rachel’s wedding will be a harbinger for unconditional love from her upscale Connecticut family. Therein lies the problem as her narcissism provides the catalyst for long-simmering tensions that uncork during the preparations for a lavish, Indian-themed wedding weekend (the movie’s working title was “Dancing with Shiva”). It soon becomes clear that Kym’s link to a past tragedy is at the core of the unpredictable dynamics that force confrontations and regrettable actions among the four principal family members. Rachel appears to be Kym’s sensible opposite, but their alternately close and contentious relationship shows how they have not fully recovered from past resentments. Their remarried father Paul is a bundle of loving support to the point of unctuous for both his girls, while their absentee mother Abby is the exact opposite – guarded and emotionally isolated until she is forced to face both her accountability and anger in one shocking moment.
