Methadone Drug Addiction .com

I have a friend on methadone due to a herion addiction. Sometimes he is really moody and almost making stuff up in his mind, jealousy and seeing things. Is this normal or not, also because he said his dose goes up and down I had a feeling that it might have some effects on his moodiness. Please help if you have info on methadone. It's all new to me. Thanks

i am currently on methadone and don't have a mood problem, and i am taking the 40mg dose 1,4x's a day. so it must be your friend's natural way of living

Methadone Info

I was a long time addict to morphine. The methadone worked for me when nothing else would, It has saved my life. Without it I would probably be dead by now and my children would be orphans. I have stayed clean with no relapses for 3 years because of the treatment and the therapy that I attend. Please share your opinion with me. Good or bad.

I was on methadone for 3 years,my doctor shot himself in the head in his office.A new drug is out now that Iam on and its better than the methadone. Its called suboxone you can look it up on line.E/mail me if you have any questions

I'm writing a paper for school and I'm trying to say that Buphenorphine is better then Methadone for opiate treatment. Do any of you by chance know of any Credible websites that would agree with my theory? Basically I need to find a site that states that Methadone is bad for people to use... thank you

I can answer this personally. My DR. put me on it for chronic pain ; along with percosets, xanax, soma, all this together. I took myself off of the stuff. Methadone will kill you,. I know several people who have died from it. Go to ask .com Good Luck!

iv had 3 regular ultrasounds and 1 4d she is growing fine in fact she's above her weight but my 2 boys 9&7 were 9 lb's and over!(i didnt take anything with them) I'm just looking for some advice only from people who has had experience with having a child on methadone i live in mobile,alabama and it seems to be more common than you would think.

Do you have comcast ondemand? They have "pregnant and on methadone". I was on subutex, like suboxone while pregnant, my baby had no withdrawls. But I did watch several women have babies while I was going to the methodone clinic, a couple specialist say no to methodone while pregnant if trying to get pregnant, some get pregnant while not wanting to. You are on a pretty high dose. Take a breath, I'm pretty sure your baby will have withdrawls of some sort and will be weaned off, I work in the nicu also. We slowly take them off. If there is anyway at all to lower at all before you give birth, maybe two mgs, everyother week or month, anything is good. I just know it will brake your heart when withdrawls start with the baby after birth, first few times watching other babies made me cry. Look up videos of withdrawling babies. Plan for the worst hope for the best. If you have a mind set of withdrawls your prepared for the worst and won't be blind sided then IF by chance your baby does well, you will be so happy.
