Having trouble with opiates? Try suboxone for treatment if you are taking methadone for heroine/opiate pill addiction. Methadone is worse than heroine just man made and less addictive.

i was being prescribed morphine for severe pain until approx 6 months ago when my private doctor informed me that she would no longer prescribe this and put me on dihydrocodeine which i found much weaker and started buying methadone from drug addicts to top up for the pain i was in, i hate breaking the law but she has left me little choice. my gp will only offer a referral to a drugs agency to get methadone prescribed but having researched it and taken it i think its far worse and provides little pain relief. i can get what i need in france but so far i've had no luck in the uk, can anyone help, i am genuinely in severe pain from a motorcycle accident but i feel that no one believes me.

so yea my family thinks that i abuse inhalents because my brother had to point out that i bought 2 of those containers of canned air, ya know the ones that clean small, hard to get places that contain dust. A little background on my bro... hes 29 years old, no job, he has some type of pill addiction, my whole family knows he was addicted to hydrocodone and now hes on methadone as well as about 7 other prescription drugs. worst of all is my parents enable him, and dont really bring to light how serious his problems are, its very sad. So he finds these 2 bottles of canned air in my room which ive had laying around for the past six months and he starts telling my parents about the abuse of inhalents and how he thinks ive been doing it. Only thing i've ever touched is weed, never inhaled ANYTHING to get high, i'd think you'd already have to have a little brain damage to even wanna do that. My parents sided with him and got all on my case about it, almost like he brainwashed them into thinking i'm an inhalent abuser, and to tell you the truth i lost a little respect for my parents in the process that their "druggy" son is able to easily manipulate them like that. So anyway i vented to my friends who laughed about it and also vented to my 25 year old brother who said he was sorry to hear that and he thought it was ridiculous. I've been really depressed, this just makes it all worse, i wish i could just move out my house it drives me crazy, I'm 21 with a job and im going to school, and the first chance i get i'm leaving... yea so what do u guys think of all this, pretty crazy right?

Being a parent is hard. Your parents totally screwed up with one kid and however much they enable him I'm sure they feel very guilty and don't want that to happen to you. They weren't hard enough on him and now pretty much have to support him so he doesn't end up on the street or whatever and now they will be hard on you. Believe me on this because you probably won't have an inkling until you become a father someday.

Get out of your parents' house. You are a grown man. Go live in the dorms, or get an apartment with someone. Stop putting it off. You need to stand on your own two feet. I thought you were about 15 until you said you were 21. Create your own life. It will be hard. Harder than you can imagine. However, you are still a dependent. I'm sure that isn't making you have respect for yourself.
